What I Wore and What We Did in Nashville!!
We were in Nashville this past weekend for the George Strait, Chris Stapleton, and Little Big Town concert! We had friends of ours in town as well, and it was a BLAST! This was first time I have been to Nashville in the Summer, and y’all it was HOT!!! My outfits were planned around the coolest options possible! Here’s a round up of everything I wore!
This was what I wore on the way to Nashville Thursday morning. We had a super early flight, so I wanted something very comfortable! I love this Amazon sweater set! Feels like pjs, but still looks put together! I also linked some of favorite travel must haves here as well! Everything linked here.
Once we got to Nashville, we immediately changed and went out! We grabbed some lunch while we listened to live music at Honkey Tonk Central (one of our favorites for live music!!!), and then headed over to Ole Smokey Distillery to meet our friends. This was our 2nd time visiting Ole Smokey, and it’s such a neat place! I highly recommend checking it out if you are in town!
I wore this adorable Amazon skort and Amazon top! Linking the whole outfit here.
Thursday night we went out to a few places to listen to music! We started at Roberts (they are known for their “recession special”, which includes a fried bologna sandwich, chips, a moon pie, and a Pabst Blue Ribbon all for $6!), then headed to The Stage. The Stage is one of my favorite places for live music! We finished the night back at Honkey Tonk Central for more live music :)
My outfit from Thursday night is linked here.
Friday morning, we decided to take it easy, and hung out by the pool for most of the morning! I always get asked were we stay when we are in Nashville. We are blessed to have a good friend who lives right in downtown Nashville! We always stay with him, and this trip we got to enjoy his apartment pool!
I wore this adorable Amazon cover up! Everything linked here.
Friday night was the concert! Before the concert, we grabbed a late lunch/early dinner at a place called "Broadway Brewhouse”. This restaurant is known for their homemade soups. Even though it was SUPER hot outside, I was told I had to try the soup of the day! The soup of the day was Crawfish Bisque, and it was delicious! I highly recommend checking out this place and trying the soup!
After that, we headed to the concert! Y’all ,it was HOT!!! Heat index was 105 degrees at the concert! Absolutely the hottest concert I have ever been too! But worth it!
I just wore this Amazon bodysuit and shorts. I also used my favorite Amazon clear stadium bag. Everything is linked here.
For our last full day in Nashville, we went out during the day to try some new places! We started at Miranda Lambert’s restaurant called, “Casa Rosa” for lunch! They had delicious margaritas, and probably the best steak fajitas I have ever had! After that we headed to the Rare Bird bar. Mark had seen something online about this place, and it was such a cute little spot! It was a rooftop bar on top of the Noellle hotel. Their were beautiful views overlooking the city, and they had a whole “peach” menu for the summer featuring everything peach flavored! Such a cool spot!
After that, we headed back to Honkey Tonk Central once again to listen to music. We had plans to check out one more place called, “Santa’s Pub”! Apparently it is a little dive bar that does Christmas decorations and karaoke! But we ended up going back home early because we were exhausted. However, Santa’s Pub is on the list for next time!
I love this adorable Amazon skirt I wore! I paired it with my favorite Amazon ribbed bodysuit. Everything linked here.
Sunday morning we headed home! As you can see, comfort was my main priority for travel! I wore this Amazon pullover (part of a set), and my new favorite Amazon biker shorts.
My travel look is linked here.
Hopefully this gives you some ideas of what to do and see in Nashville!
