5 Wardrobe Staples-Summer to Fall!
Can y’all believe that summer is almost over? I swear it was just Memorial Day last week!!
Anyway, I am in a weird place where I don’t want summer to end, BUT…. I am so ready for some fall fashion! Fall fashion is my absolute favorite!!! Sweaters, booties, cardigans, tights, jackets, YES, YES, YES! I love it all!
Today I’m going to share my top 5 wardrobe pieces that I think are so helpful when it comes to transitioning from fall to summer! I am willing to bet that you have most of these right in your closet already! Okay, let’s dive in!
1. Jean Jackets
Oh how I love a good jean jacket. I honestly grab for this thing almost year round. A jean jacket is the perfect item to grab for the cooler mornings as fall starts to come. You can easily throw it on on almost anything and it works! I like to wear it now with shorts and a tank in the summer, and in the fall I will pair it with pants and mules for work!
2. Light Sweaters
A lot of people think of wearing sweaters only in the winter, but I personally love to wear them in the summer too with skirts or shorts! Lightweight sweaters are an easy staple to wear now and into the coming months.
3. Cardigans
This is honestly my favorite of the 5! I wear my cardigans all the time! My husband calls me a “grandma” because I can’t leave the house without my cardigan, even in the summer! (The AC is cold in a lot of places right?!). Anyway, there is nothing easier then throwing on a neutral cardigan when those cool evenings start next month.
4. Button Up Shirts
This is something I am sure that every single person reading this has in their closet. Wear it now, wear it later…. Easy to transition into fall, plus you can wear it in so many ways!
5. White Jeans
Okay, truthfully this one took me a while to get on board with. I was one of those “you don’t wear white after Labor Day” people up till a couple years ago! Once I figured out how to style my white jeans into the next season, I was hooked!
There you go! That’s my top 5 closet picks for transitioning from Summer to Fall! If you enjoyed this post, be sure to subscribe so you don’t miss the next one!
