What to Wear for Valentine’s Day!

Can y’all believe that a week tomorrow is Valentine’s Day?! It feels like just yesterday was New Years! I guess that means that we are getting closer to spring, so no complaints over here! Anyway, I am probably in the minority with this, but I am actually not a huge Valentine’s Day person! We don’t really do much to celebrate, and I will be in my pjs before 7 pm, I’m sure of it! (It’s a Monday though, can you blame me?!) Anyway… today I am sharing 5 Valentine’s Day outfit options for whatever you may be doing next Monday!

Casual Valentine’s Day Option

This is what I would wear if I was going to lunch during the day, or maybe volunteering at my kids school for a Valentine’s Day party! This would also be a great option if you are headed out for a casual dinner with your family on Valentine’s Day.

Work Valentine’s Day Option

Seeing that Valentine’s Day is on a workday, I wanted to include something that you could wear to work! This is an example of what I would wear into the classroom. You could exchange the plaid shacket with a red or pink cardigan. If your work environment isn't legging friendly, you can switch out the leggings with black trousers. Another great option would be to wear a pink or red blouse under a black blazer.

Valentine’s Day Casual Date Night Option

Here’s an outfit I would wear if I was headed out for a more casual date night with my husband. Personally, I would likely not wear pink or red on Valentine’s Day, so I picked this neutral tunic as a good option. This tunic does come in a pink color though if that is more your style :)

Valentine’s Day Dressy Date Night Option

Here are a couple of options if you are headed out for a fancy dinner on Valentine’s Day! I shared two in case you are like me and not wanting to wear red or pink on Valentine’s Day. The best part about both of these options, they are rompers! They both have the look of dresses, but you don’t have to worry about the wind blowing up the dress! They both are on prime, and under $30! (I did size up to a M in both, because of my long torso).

Hopefully, that gives you some ideas of what to wear for Valentine’s Day! Hope you all enjoy your day!
